For the last year, I've been working with Pocket Communications, one of the largest flat-rate wireless carriers in the nation.  Recently, the company announced that it was being acquired by Cricket.

Taking a similar business model, a new company has been formed, which we are announcing today.

It's called Pocket Power, a monthly Pay-As-You-Go electricity service. Unlike other services, Pocket Power doesn’t require a deposit, credit check, long-term obligation, social security number, or even an ID to sign up. Since customers pay in advance for the service, there's no need for background checks or identity verification. It’s completely hassle-free, and only simple information about your residence is required in order to calculate payment for the first 30 days.
